Secure Superior Industrial Floor Paint

This oil based product is specially formulated to be used in industrial areas as it is exceptionally hard wearing and can withstand heavy traffic use its a very versatile paint and can be used in Warehouses, show rooms, workshops, industrial garages, factories etc. The product is just a 1 pack product and super easy to apply, just give the can a througouh mix and then you are good to go. 
 
When using a floor paint preparation is really important, the area has to be a suitable surface for the best outcome and the surface has to be in a good condition. If the floor has never been painted before we recommend a thin coat of pre seal first and If the area is very dirty or heavily contaminated with chemicals/oils/grease the area does need to be fully treated / cleaned before any of our products are advised to be used. Ideal drying times for this product is around 15-20 degrees and we advise to leave 24 hours in-between coats, if the area is colder than the ideal temp and depending on the thickness of application drying times can vary it is best to always feel the surface with your hand to determine it is dry and no longer tacky before applying further coats.

For floors that have already been painted:
If the area is clean and free from contamination and in good condition then you are good to paint on top of the old paint. Always do a test patch when painting over a pre existing paint as our paint may not adhere to other paint products (we do not advise to use our product over epoxy.) When applying we advise 2 thin coats of floor paint leaving adequate drying time between each coat. Thin coats are always much better for application and leaving each coat to fully dry is very important if the last coat feels tacky then please wait before applying anymore product. If you are painting a lighter colour over a dark colour then more coats may be needed however approach with caution and always apply each coat as thin as you can to ensure each coat adheres well to the surface
